S2 E7 - Michellé Saint Laurent

In this episode of Beyond the Runway, anchor, Enyce Smith, hosts the remarkable mother of Saint Laurent, Michellé. One of the first members of the House and Ball community to ever be deemed legendary after only being apart of the scene for six years, Michellé is one of the hailing champions in her category. Born and raised in the Bay Area, from a young age she knew that LA was the place for her. Directly after receiving her High School diploma Michellé made her way down the coast to the land of Palm trees and abundant sunshine, which undoubtedly suits her sparkling personality. She found a creative outlet in the Ball Scene, where she could express herself for completely, and leave it all out on the floor. Michellé chooses to remove herself from the politics of the scene and remain neutral in contentious environments. Transitioning into the woman she is meant to be, took an extreme amount of courage and bravery, which continues to prove that standing up for what you believe in and what you want really can become a reality.
