In this episode of Beyond the Runway, anchor Enyce Smith hosts the honest, respectable and real Suvanna. Misunderstood and truly blessed with a beautiful heart, Smith sits down with Suvanna as she divulges her life story from growing up in a rough neighborhood to where she is today as a trans woman.
Born and raised in Watts, California Suvanna had to survive on the streets of South Central LA with a “tough guy” attitude to continually gain street cred for a gay boy. She would fight anyone to gain the respect she deserved and stands by that position to this day. As a transgender woman in the community she does not want to result to violence, but she does demand the same respect, as any other man would receive. As spectators, we are given very personal insight into her double transformation as she divulges intimate details of why she underwent the process twice.
